The East Chicago jail roster is managed by the Lake County Sheriff's Office in Crown Point, not by the city of East Chicago. East Chicago Police Department

The East Chicago Police Department serves one of the more densely populated cities in Lake County. When the East Chicago Police Department makes an arrest, the person does not stay at the city's police station. East Chicago does not operate its own jail. Booking Records and Your Rights
